SOUND OF US

Have you ever dreamt of joining a band? Have you taken stock of your values amidst all that is happening in the world today?

Set in a nightclub late at night, a clandestine band gets ready to jam. The instruments they use are their bodies, voices and tools. Their power set up is clear but complex. Until something happens that tests the team spirit…

Following the tradition of Nordic larps, Sound of Us is a larp that explores the individual and the collective, values, ideology and music. Also what each participant brings to the mix.

People of any or no musical background are encouraged to take part.

Written by Victor Esses, IndrÄ— GardauskaitÄ— and Mary-Jo Gilligan.

Sound of Us was developed in Larporatory 2016 in Vilnius, Lithuania, and presented at KG, Vilnius, Tallin Larp Festival, Estonia, The Smoke, Theatre Deli London and Liddicoat & Goldhill Project Space, Margate, by invitation of artist Adam James.
